Internal Audit Manager | Hybrid (Charlotte, NC or Hartsville, SC)
Looking for more than just another audit role? Our client, a global leader in sustainable packaging, is on the lookout for an Internal Audit Manager.
This isn’t a tick-the-box audit job. You’ll partner with business leaders, dig into real operational impact, and help shape audit strategies across a company that spans 85+ countries.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading operational, compliance, and financial audits from start to final report
- Guiding and mentoring a high-performing audit team
- Building bridges across teams and turning risk into opportunity
- Collaborating with external auditors
- Recommending smart solutions, streamlining processes, and modernizing audit with tech
- Keeping up with all things GAAP, SEC, PCAOB, and industry cool-kid standards
What You Bring to the Table:
- 6–8 years of audit experience (some public, some industry, your mix is welcome)
- 2+ years leading or mentoring people
- Strong knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and financial audit techniques
- Experience working in an Oracle environment
- A CPA, CIA, or CMA (or you're working on it)
- Comfortable with some travel (15ish% because they are global)
- Great communication skills and the ability to simplify complex issues without breaking a sweat
- Familiarity with manufacturing is a plus, but curiosity and adaptability are even better
